NUMBER FOUR. IOLA, KANSAS, MAY, 1914. 71 i A Divided Allegiance Knights of Columbus Repre Thev Do It and sent in Congress, District Why-" There's a Reason and States, that the Roman Vote is Not One-fifth the Total Vote The mail service is the service of dLsseadnating light and information, and the Jesuit machine hates a good mail service for the same reason it hates free schools.

Under the Republican party they put Jesuit agents into the postal service, under the Democrats it's worse. Can you, as an American, support either party? And we know to be a Jesuit tool. So what are you going to do about it Which ever of the three parties we put in, Rome rules. There can be but ONE answer," Home rule, or Rome and if no party accepts that, then only; a new party, that does accept that, can save us. I have in my possession a letter from a congressman who has confidence in me, which says: "Anything confidential, address to Box Washington, D.

not allowing my name to appear." That is, he and other congressmen as well, get friends to rent a box in the friend's name, ana have anything confidential to come to that box without mention of their names. I know it sounds preposterous, but often "truth is stranger than fiction," and these are brass tacks and not rainbows I am giving. Then too, please remember, and DON'T FORGET IT. ine isurnett immigation Dm witn literacy test, tne mil the Knights of Columbus haw been fighting and the Roman Catholic political machine had determined to defeat, passed the house of representatives by a two-thirds vote, or 252 to 126, on February 4th, 1914. The fact that is most peculiar, and please not only note it, but remember it, that the newspapers of the country, Associated Press despatches, all gave the vote as 241 to 12(5.

WHY? Why has none of them corrected their misstatement And now that the Congressional Record has circulated it, it becomes a lie. They allow to go uncorrected what they now know to be a LIE. There must be a reason. The reason is the Roman Catholic political machine. Why was the fact that the bill had passed by a two-thirds vote, misstated, and purposely lied about to the country at large A Knight of Columbus started the lie, and the Jesuit agents in the Associated Press, and on the staff of all the leading papers did the rest.

Go to some public library and read the Congressional, Record, page 3037, February 4th, 1914, and there is the recorded yeas and nays, and the vote of 252 to 126, but the newspapers said 241 to 126. How come the difference? The readimr clerk of the house is Patrick J. Ilaltigan. When the American Federation of Catholic Societies held their convention in New Orleans, Nov. 13-16, 1910, they OPENLY passed a resolution, calling on Roman Catholic employees to destroy in transit all mail matter offensive to the Roman Catholic church.

again is a brass tack, as it was even published at the time in the press. There's no use to attempt to deny it. Here were men who were under oath to the government of the United States to perform faithfully their duties to the P. O. department, yet the Roman Catholic Church called upon them to violate their oath and serve the Church of Rome.

Had Father Phelan tried to deny his words: "To hell with the government of the United States," the resolution passed in New Orleans in 1910, puts into practice, the fact that a faithful son of the Romish political machine, is expected to ignore and violate his oath to the government, and obey in preference the bidding of his church. Now do you understand why Eugene F. Kinkead; as a K. of is so willing to accept a $7,000 a year job in trade for a $9,000 job? Now do you understand why Joe Tumulty is putting all the nites and into all the public civil service? Now do you understand what this means to the public who look for service from any department of the government, and especially the post-off ce which touches us all from the highest to JPfnJ i 'Will TMscd i Tliis cartoon was publLshetl in Harper's eckly nt the ot epct'on at JosTth MoKeima to the United States senate. Tlios.

Naut at the time, decJuiyd that McKenna sworn liis first allegiance to th Pope and his claims of supremacy above all governments, and that him to take any oath of office under the United States while he reserved his allegiance to the Papal pretensions, was equivalent to perjury, and would be taken in bad faith, and with the intention of being false to its terms. Thos. Nast was entirely right, and SIc-Kenna and Chief Justice White, his associate in the supreme court, and in all, over 76 members of congress, and a host of Knights of Columbus in the postoffice department service, and in all the civil service, are all in the same condition as Nast has" here pictured McKenna, taking an oath of allegiance to a country and piinciples, that he Iihs already sworn to undermine. Washington was eternally right, we should "Put none but Americans on Guard." who is a Knight of Columbus, and is on that job to serve the nites first, and "to hell with the government of the United States." Patrick J. Ilaltigan is the editor and publisher of the National Hibernian, published in Washington, D.

and devoted to the political papal plan of "Make America Catholic," and how can tie best help that plan than to be the reading clerk of Ihe house of representatives? rlil' oi tnfanOiir iW. aiia laatuCi, tin1 hea-d -of the government printing office in Ford, the head, and over 90 per cent of the employees of the government printery, and are like a pack of body lice, all over the government service. It was so under Republican rule, it is doubly so under democratic rule, therefore the only remedy is a new party whose leading, principle will be "The pope must not rule America." "When the test vote was taken on the passage of the Burnett immigration bill this Patrick Ilaltigan falsified the record, that is, made a mistake in adding up the yeas, and reported to Speaker Clark that only 241 members voted for the bill and 126 against. This the press reporters reported to their papers, but they, the nites, could not, or dared not falsify the Congressional Record, which shows the real vote to have been 252 to 126, or exactly two-thirds vote. Enough to pass it ov.er the veto of the president.

When the truth came out, not one single newspaper of the syndicate and big business owned press, corrected their misstatements. Now with 90 per cent of nites in the government printing office, with Ford, the head printer, a nite, and Reading Clerk Ilaltigan a nite, and a lot of others scattered around, the lowest ThNe Roman Cntholie, political machine derives its power not of votes it can control, for also" remember that nomcan 'Messing Catholics are, servile sheep in the hands'" mde church, but from the fact that men who are not Catholics, can be coerced, cajoled and frightened into doing as she bids. Take as one example of many, "Gum Shoe Bill" Stone, senator from Missouri, who is the go between and servile consulter with Roman Catholic bishops to serve them. The Roman spies know the skeletons in Stone's closet, and when he don't do as told, the 'skeleton rattles, and Stone says: "Don't shoot, Dave. I'll come down." Rome's power is her espionage, and her foresworn spies in the postoffice department are Johnnies on the spot, to spot all secrets, not to reform, but to blackmail the secret holders, and make them dance to the tune of "Make America Catholic." And those who are honest and courageous enough to refuse to "frame up" against them, as we lately saw them do against Senator Thos.

P. Gore of Oklahoma, and as they have done and are doing when they can, against all who dare to refuse her orders. There are enough Romanists in the public service today to paralyze the government whenever they get the or Eugene F. Kinkead, congressman from Eighth District N. J.

Porn in Ireland, educated at Seton Hall, South Orange, N. a Catholic college, is a Knight of Columbus, and an Ancient Order of Hibernian, which acted in Pennsylvania under the name of The Molly Maguires. With his salary as congressman at $7,500 a year, 20 cents per mile mileage allowance both ways, for secretary, stationery, received of the government about $9,000. President Wood- roV Wilson at the suggestion, request, or order of Joe Tumulty, his Jesuit private secretary an political agent of the Roman Catholic machine, appointed Kinkead post- master of Jersey City at $7,000 per year. Why did Kinkead, receiving $9,000 per year, seek and accept a job at $7,000 per year? "Well there's a reason." That reason is that though as congressman, and one of the clique that moved to form a lodge of the A.O.of H.or Molly Maguires, IN CONGRESS, he was of the greatest use to the Roman Catholic political machine, yet as postmaster in.Jersey City, he.

will be far more useful to that machine than IN CONGRESS. Then too the Kearney, N. (East Newark), Knights of Columbus lodge, will see to it that another knight will be nominated on the Democratic ticket, which they have done, and feeling sure that being nominated will be equivalent to an election, thus two nites will he in the federal service, where they can do the most good for the nites and the Roman Catholic political machine, instead of one, ami thus hasten the day to "make America Catholic," and obey the command of "Our Lord God the Pope." Now in Avhati way can the nite of Columbus Kinkead, serve their purpose better as postmaster in Jersey City fet- $2,000 less per year than in congress Well you see it's this way. Until such papers as The Crusader, Menace, Peril, Sentinel, Protestant Magazine, and really Masonic papers, can be excluded from the mails, and unlike the daily press such as the New York World, Hearsts' and Munsey's papers, and the Associated Press, censored by the Jesuit agents on their staffs, the' next bed thing, is to put the mail service on the bum, by putting in riite postmasters, Catholic mail carriers and office clerks who will do as the nites say. These papers can be conveniently torn in bundles, and in detail, and lost, strayed or stolen.

Then too leters of pariotic orders and their members can be spotted, and when thought best, steamed, opened and examined, and all kinds of skullduggery carried on to further the sworn purpose of "make America Catholic." As an example, and also showing at the same time how "big business" or "predatory wealth" works hand and glove and is in full agreement with the Jesuit machine. This came out several years ago, before so many men like Kinkead and the Catholic gang stuffed the mail service as they do today, and President Woodrow Wilson is assisting them to stuff it fuller. When Senator LaFollette claimed his mail was being tampered with, the nites of Columbus in congress, and the prostitute press, tried to ridicule his statement. But among oher things, this came out: Col. WTm.

N. Armory of New York City, asked in 1902, for an investigation of the Metropolitan Co. This company was formed for grafting purposes by New York politicians of the Tammany crowd. Detectives watched him, (there is a Jesuit detective bureau, and Burns, a Romanist, has an international detective agency. See advertisement in World Almanac.

He was shadowed wherever he went, and. attacked by the press of New York. His servants were bribed. Every telegram he received bore evidence of being tampered with but they found-nothing and commenced tampering with his mail, in the New Jork postoffice. His attorney, Wm.

R. Brinkerhoff, No. 68 Williams December 4th, 1913, received a letter for him. It came from Washington, D. post marked December 3rd.

Brinkerhoff put it in an envelope of his own, sealed it and addressed it to Colonel A. and mailed it. At 5 p. m. this letter was delivered by carrier to Colonel A.

but only a blank paper was in it. Later, the carrier delivered a plain envelope addressed to Mrs. A. containing the letter B. had received, but outside of its original envelope which was also enclosed.

The letter was from a woman. Later Mrs. A. received anonymous letters trying to get her to proceed against Colonel A. promising produce the girl at the slightest sign from you.

Colonel A. made a series of tests, all noted by witnesses, that proved his mail, even to registered letters, Avere being systematically tampered with. lie also discovered that 'whenever he mailed a letter in a street box, a yellow en- of peculiar design was put in by a shadow. On investigation, a postoffice inspector told him, that the regular United, States Postoffice detectives, used these envelopes to show that a letter by a spotted man had been mailed, etc. When Colonel A.

made these facts known, despite the brass tacks, of witnesses, he was ridiculed by "the and in the press, and though he tried to get the postal au-v thorities to act, nothing was done. Here the Roman Catholic Jesuit machine had the use of the postoffice detectrive service, and the postal authorities up to Washington itself would do nohing. That was in 1903-1904, and since then many more of the Jesuit agents have been put in as postmasters, as clerks, as carriers, and in the detective service of the postal department. Now do you understand WHY Kinkead so gladly takes $7,000" per year in exchange for Now 'do you understand why our postal service is being undermined and made to be as bad a service as possible? Now do you understand that if you want good service, or practically any service, why we shosld act on the word of George Washington 4 Tut none but Americans on One ea.se we have spoken of, where -on a standing vote, Speaker "Clark miscounted and was '-'check counted" from der to act in unison. The acts of President Wilson demonstrate how Rome can tie a man to do what she commands, even though directly contrary to his professed convictions.

No not convictions, that's a misnomer, opinions, for convictions, a man, if he is a man, will die fcefor6 he violates, but opinions are things to compromise with. Our readers may not have-ccess to the Congressional, Record. The real test vote was on the motion of Congressman Sabath, Fifth district Illinois, to recommit the bill with instructions to strike- out the illiteracy test and report forthwith without the reading. Please remember that two answered "present," and 52 are recorded as "not voting," that is to say, they were either careful to be absent, directly dodged voting, or sought some subterfuge to evade appearing in the straight vote. The men who voted against the bill are far more to be honored, though admittedly enemies to Americanism, than the hawn dawgs who dodged and ducked a record vote. The straight out and avowed enemies and friends to the, plan to "Make America Catholic," are as follows.

Note them. If you live in their state or dis--trict, get active against them, until the American people have the pluck to start a new party, "The Pope shall never rule America." Jas. M. Curley, the present mayor of Boston, is a Nite of Columbus, and a faithful son of the howly church. He has served time as a convict and otherwise distinguished himself. When he was an alderman in Boston he was elected to congress and held both offices and drew both salaries, and then he wa? elected as mayor of Boston, and remained on the roll and pay list of congress.

On February 23rd, 1914, (see Congressional Record page 4072) J. R. Mann, of Illinois, moved a resolution of privilege, and requested that the name of Jas. M. Curley of Massachusetts, be stricken from the roll of congress, but the Nite qf Columbus and Tammany Congressman Fitzgerald of New Yqrk, a nite, made objection, (you see the nites must look out for one another), but Underwood of Alabama, the Democratic leader, rather than the onus and blame of so self-evident a case of graft being upheld by a Democrat, adroitly had the resolution referred to the committee on the judiciary, and there it can be killed quietly or allowed to lapse, and in the mean time the Nite of Colunibns Curley can remain in Boston and draw both salaries, and Uncle Sam's leg can be pulled for $7,500 per year and mileage, and clerks and Henry Dubbs, the common people, can pay the bill, and Curley will pay his percentage of your money to "make America Catholic." Under the Republicans this sort of graft went, and under the Democrats it's worse, and we ought to be glad we changed parties.

But why dil W9 change? In the words of Taft, "God knows." Continued on page (to).
