nil i ii 1i -'-i ZkiA rin i i Art Mundey has gone to California. Chas. Pennington went to Bonner, Sunday Miss Daisy Reed is clerking at the Live Wire. Miss Lucille Hicks visited her brother in Bonner on Sunday. Wm.

Allison will occupy the Sam Ward place near Tonganoxie. Mr. and Mrs. J. J.

Anderson are visiting their sons in Nebraska. Earnest Allison will move to C. F. Siscoe's place in about two weeks. John Godfrey is working, mornings and evenings, at 'I he Times office.

C. C. Hemphill has rented his farm and will probably move to Lawrence. Mrs. Husband and Mrs.

Theo. Meinke went to Kansas City last Tuesday. Dr. J. M.

Phillips, formerly of Linwood, is now located in Junction City, Kansas. Mrs. C. H. White, of Bonner Springs, is visiting her parents, A.

R.Wilson and wife. A. A. Jones went to Kansas City, Monday and remained to enjoy the P. 0.

Martin and Clarence Gardner are constructing a cedar pDle tslephom line to Lenape. J. S. Tudhope has put a car of tiling in his east potato field and will put one in the pond field W. C.

Ward finished sowing wheat on Oct. 2nd' and, although the weather has tried both extremes, yet he has finished in excellent condition. L. P. Kindred is working hard for and we believe is accomplishing much in the way of rehabilitating the Bonner Portland Cement Co.

A little more Kindred may pull the thing out of the ditch. W. H. Frederick is a valuable man for the plant. Within 30 days of the time he was made foreman of the quarries, he reduced the cost of making cement seven cents per barrel, so Mr.

Kindred is quoted. J. A. Riley entertained John Shaw and family, Sunday. Mr Herman Zimmerli went to Kansas Cit-y on business last week Mr and Mrs A A Quinlan were Eudora visitors last Thursday Mr Riley of Bonner Springs was in town, Sunday Alford Riley who has been ill for the past month, has about recovered Elmer Hicks returned home from Leavenworth, Sunday J.
