Bessie Jewett wife of Abnor died at her home near Mt. Hope, Aug. 4th, 1899. Her maiden name was Bessie Ferguson, She was bom in Green county, Aug. 27th, 1852.

Removed to Kansas with her parents in the Sgring of 1874. Was married to Abuer Jewett July 4th, 1877. Most of her life was spent in Sedgwick county, where she was widely Known us a woman of strong character, noted hospitality, warm friendship, and loving devotion to her family. Her friends and neighbors of this vicinity, where she has resided but a few short years, mourn her loss as one of whom we 20c each. Window glass at T.
