And we look for the same results from the Chicago exposition in 1392. Kansas in the inter- val will raise two crops. We have had our nrop failures. Last year, it ia reasonable to presume, was the turning point from a series of unproductive to a series of bountiful years.

It is altogeth-- er probable that so far as natural conditions concern the prosperity of the state, we will be in better shape in 1892 thah ever before in our history. It be-, hooves the cities of Kansas to take this tide of prosperity at the turn, to build up new enterprises, expand and diversi-' fy the state's industries, sieze the opportunity of industrial development in ad-I vance of neighboring states.
