It has a very nice church property; large church with a tiful chime of bells; a two-story brick school house, built two years ago, which for beauty and convenience would do credit to any large city; and a large residence for the Sisters, who teach the 80 children of the parochial school.

From St. Mark's I went to the other congregations in that large German settlement, that is, Aleppo and Ost. In both places are nice frame churchesland parish school taught by the Sisters of Charity.

The schools are furnished with geographical maps and pictures from Holy Scripture. These schools are an inducement to Catholic families to settle in those places. Catholics are growing more numerous continu. ally. From Aleppo and Ost I went to Andale.
