E. P. Wadhams, who has been lying ill suppurative sore throat at the Brunswick for two weeks, died at 7:30 o'clock this morning, just two minutes before his father, who arrived from Burlington on the morning train, entered the room. Deceased came here two weeks ago from Burlington, and was making arrangements to open an insurance office here in partnership with J. R.

Dunkin, also from Burlington, when he was taken sick. Being a member of Jos. Dowell lodge No. 66, K. he was given every attention by the members of that society in this city, His death was not unexpected, as he had been sinking gradually during the night.

E. P. Wadhams was a prominent citizen of Burlington, having lived there since 1807. He was employed in the county offices in various capacities for six years, and was considered an authority on county matters. Deceased leaves a wife and two children, who are visiting in North Auburn, Neb.
