Mrs. Pnrcell and little son, of Onaga visited at Allen Powelsons on Thursday Two representatives of the American Bank Protection Company have been here the past week putting in a burglar alarm system at the Bank. Which is considered by all bankers to be the finest and most perfect system made. The vault is lined with steel which is connected with a battery and charged with electricity.

The burglar who enters the vhult would at tba first touch of the inside connect the current of electricity that would set an alarm bell ringing, which is located in the cupola and can be heard all over town. The noise in the bank would be so deafening that he could not possibly communicate with any confeder ate at the door to learn whether any one was coming to defend the bank. If he drilled through the safe on the inside of the vault he would have to do so while the bell is ringing for the bell will ring as long as any portion of the inside of the vault is touched. A demonstration will be given before the board of directors when it is installed and the depositors are also invited to see it operate at any time. The same system is in use at the banks at Corning, Wettnore and the two Onaga banks.
