Muughlin and Mr. W. K. Ball went to Xewton last Tuesday, and from there will go to Indiana. Our City seems to be the destination of a great many eastern parties that are looking for homes this spring.

Mrs. I). Vink is having a nice fence built around her residence.and the place, which has always looked well, now looks a great, deal better. The Stafford '-kids" went to I.eesburg last Saturday to play a game of ball with the youngsters of that place, but for some reason they failed to play. Jones Co.

Railroad Building. Hays City, May 1.1. Logan township voted yesterday to the Union Pacific, riainville township voted on the 7th instant. Other elections occur May 20th. Track-laying will begin at Waldo by the I'Otb and the road will be completed to riainville bv June 15th.
