Tuesday morning was cloudy and cold but long before the time set for the hunt men began to gather in town, coming in by the wagon and buggy loads and by over 500 men were lined up around the souare to be driven. The marriage of Miss Minnie Lindell and Harry P. Geiunm was solemnized at the home of the bride's father in Windom, Wednesday evening, January twenty-third, in the presence of sixty five relatives and friends. 20 1907 at Windom, Kansas. He was married to Nellie Thorn as March 21, 1844 at Waynes-burg, Greene County Penn. Six children were born to this union of which five are still living Mrs. J. L.

Courtier, of Council Bluff, Iowa; Joshua Neel, of Ness Mr. Neel had been helpless for over ayear and he required some one to set up with him every night as his wife was not strong The funeral services were held at his home at A. S. Neel's Monday afternoon, Rev. I.

N. Pierce preached the sermon. Many of Mr. Neel's old friends and neighbors attended the funeral out of respect for the one who had just crossed over from where no traveler returns. LITTLE RIVER ROUTE I.

SPRING DALE. Willie Hailing and Eddie Kirk drove to Langley Wednesday. Mrs. Fred Sedwick is visiting her parents at Bellview prepar-itory to taking a trip to California. They will probably make their future home there.

Miles Splitter who has been visiting in Eastern Kansas returned Saturday evening. He expects to move to jCalifornia in the near future. The infant babe of Mr. and Mrs. Ira Cox died Wednesday and was buried in the Baker -Cemetery.

Grandpa Neel who has been sick for over a year, died Sunday at three o'clock. Route Number Two. Ira Young and Edd Kirk left last Wednesday for Medicine Lodge. JohnNorlin shipped his fat cattle to K. C.

Monday. B. P. Horner after suffering with the tooth ache for several days and nights went to the Dentist Tuesday and had his teeth Extracted. Mrs.

J. M. VanNordstrand of McPherson is visiting her daugn-ter at Ellwood's this week. Mr. and Mrs.

D. S. Hayden were visiting at A. F. Schriners last Wednesday.

Mrs C. G. Bergstrand is visiting at her daughters Mrs. A. W.

Klein. A. W. Klein and wife spent last Sunday at S. U.

Smith's. Geo. Osgood, of McPherson, is visiting at F. W. Swabby's this week.

Sam Ellrick has been down on Sharp's creek cutting wood this week. Miss Ada Green and Myrtle Ellrick called on the carrier at at the present. George Drunk's are the happy parents of a baby girl. Miss Sadie Yoder, who has been quite sick the last week, is able to be up again. Granpa Bontrager who has been sick for some time is not improving very fast.

Mr. Thomas Burton had the misfortune of having one of his horses leg broken while out in the pasture. It had to be killed. Mrs. J.

W. and Mrs. J. R. Brunk were visitors at Mrs.

Ely's Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs Monroe Hostetler intends to start for Missouri Friday on a visit. C. C.
