When the upper gum siiowi above the teeth directly the lips are opened, it is a sign of a cold and phlegmatic nature. Short, small teeth are held by the physiognomists t3 denote weakness and short life, while rather long teeth, if evenly feet in the head, denote long life. The more the teeth in point, size, shape and arrangement approach to those of carnivorous animals, the more violent are the animal instincts in a person; while the more human teeth in shape and position approach to those of the herbivorous animals, the moreplac id is the character. While medium sized and evenly set teeth, which arc Been as soon as the mouth is open, but. which are entirely exposed, that is.

which do not at any time show the gums, are a sign of good and honest Matures. Projecting -teeth show rapacity; small, retreating teeth, which we rarely seen except in laughing, show weakness and want of physical and moral courage. The lower teeth projecting and closing over the upper range, arc indicative of a harsh nature. -TZ3IE- BP Tl Miss Ida Chaplin, wo nro glad to uote, is well anil going to school. Mrs.

The Western published at Chicago by Milton George, a practical Western farmer, is the largest farm, family and reform journal published in the United States. It has proficiently edited departments for every branch of farming, and a faithful record of every step of progress that is being made in agriculture. It indulges in no theories, hut deah only in plain, practical facts and methods that will aid the farmer in making the farm more profitable.

A large part of its matter is composed of practical questions asked by farmers and answered by practical men. It answers all questions and prescribes for sick animals free of charge. It exposes nil swindlers who seek to prey upon the farming community, and admits to its advertising columns none but reliable advertisements. For thirteen years it has been an unflinching champion of the farmer in his conflict with the rings and monopolies that have been robbing him. It started the Farmers Alliance and is tiie friend of all arganizations that are for the farming com unit-.

It was the Erst journal to agitate the question of government supervision of railroads and the first to demand legislation to protect the dairy from the unscrupulous liogus butter manufacturers. In a word, it is a paper for the farmer, his wife nnd children, for the man who beleives in justice between class and class nnd for all who believe that a pure, practical farm literature an I a lvoo.ile of farm eiV rights should be encouraged.
