Cards were received here announcing the marriage of Harlow D. Billings, of this place, to Miss EHarene Bishop of Ililbert, which was solemnized at Appleton, that state, on Wednesday the 24th of August. Mr. and Mrs. Billings will be home to their many friends in their new home in the north end of town after the 1st of October.

Harlow is the son of George N. Billings and has grown to manhood in this town. He has always held the esteem and respect of All who knew him. He is cashier of the Delphos State Bank, sober and honest. Miss Bishop is spoken of as a vir tuous young lady with ranch business tact.

She owns considerable property which is under her own management The Republican joins in wishing them success through life. School Notice-School begins Monday, Sept. 5th. All pupils who were not enrolled last year, except those who will enter the primary grade, should see me this week Examinations, for entrance to the High School and for credits in the grades, will be given Friduy and Saturday, Sept. 2 and 3.
