On last Saturday the friends and neighbors of Mr. TJ. P. En wards, in response to invitations, gathered at his home, about six miles south of Parkerville. to celebrate his fifty hist birthday.

At the usual hour the tables were spread and all present did ample justice to the good things set before them, the day passed rapidly and at at a late hour the guests departed wishing Mr. Edwards many more as happy birthdays. In the evening the young folks gathered to celebrate the occasion.
