A very pleasant evening was spent. We ommitted in our last week's issue to mention the names of Neighbors John Johnson and John Varner who were with the Woodmen at Mr. Sawyer's sorghum cutting. Our streets have been greatly improved this year but we notice a ditch in the west end of town, near W. Morgan's, which needs a culvert badly.

Mrs. Robbins drove down from White City Saturdar. Miss Vern Dilley returned home with her for a ort visit 9 pounds of nails or 8 of staples for twenty-five cents, at Hull's. Raders went to the Grove Saturday. Mr. Ruder took a load of apples. John Downing and wife went to the Grove Wednesday. Mrs, McIntosh is visiting her sister in the eastern part of the county.

Mrs. Kahl spent the afternoon with Mrs. Ramsey Wednesday. Our blacksmith, Mr. Dingman, is expecting to move to Parkerville as soon as he completes his house there.

Dave Nixon has been hauling lumber ro Parkerville. North Highland. Mesdames. Smalley Karr and Mitchell were the guests of Mre. Hallmark Wednesday.

Walter Corrie who has been here on 8 30 days furlough has return to his place. L. W. Reeves and wife and Miss Clara Hallmark visited at Omaha this week. There will be a box supper at the Burton School house (Dis.
