Cupid Got Him. The Kansas City papers of Tuesday contained the announcement that a marriage license had been granted in Kansas City, to Fred Conklin, of Osawatomie, and Bertha L. Crouse, of that City. We had noticed that the city Marshal had not been on duty for a day or two, but were not aware that cupid had made a sneak on him and gathered him in, but it seems that such is the case The bride is quite well known in this city, having lived here until about a year ago, when the family moved to Kansas City. They have the best wishes of their many friends.

H. Hume wa3 in town Monday and Tuesday and went to Leavenworth Tuesday to enter the Soldiers' Home, thinking the association and company of the old comrades would assist in whiling away the time.
