W. II. Whittall, wc are sorry to relate, had the misfortune to break one of his legs yesterday morning. He was up in Mr. Drake's haymow and accidentally stepped through a hole in the ll breaking both bones just above the ankle.

He was taken to his home a few miles southwest of town. Dr. George has charge of the case, and under his eilicient care the patient will do as well as possible, and we hope soon to see him about again. for a region in general so remakably healthy.
