and Mrs. Bonny New Years. Isaac Bonny played for a New Years dance on the Medicine creek. All had a joyous good time. Charley Crawn who lives about half way between Cedar and Claudell, accidently shot himseif last Thursday while on his way to Claudell, from the effects he was instantly killed.

Mr. Crawn had gotten cut of the buggy and shot a rabbit and in getting back in the buggy the gunfell out, the hammer of the gun striking the buggy step and discharging the gun, the charge passing through Mr. Cawn's left lung very near the heart, killing him instsntly. The powder set his clothes on fire, and the body would have been entirely consumed by the fire if it had not been for Ernest Byfield who happened to come along at that time and put out the fire by rolling the body in the snow. Mr.

Byfield sent his wife to a near by house for help. The deceased leaves a wife and seven small children We are glad to have an opportunity of thanking you for the patronage you have given us during the year. We hope the relations between us have been as pleasant and satisfactory to you as they have been to us, and that our service in every respect has warranted a continuance of your favors.
