It is not right for Republicans, simply because Sheridan has made an efficient officer, to cherish the idea that none other can become just as efficient, and is just as competent to discharge the duties of that office. Let all Republicans brace up, put their shoulders to the wheel, vote straight, each constituting himself a committee of one to look after his friends on election day, see how they vote, and we will chance the result is running tho patent inside business with a vengeance, in fact running it into the ground.
