thi'ty-six of Ira Mayhew's friends gathered at his home to celebrate his eighteenth birthday anniversary. The fore part of the1 evening was spent in games and music and the last but not least a bountiful supper of ice cream, cake, and oranges was served by Mrs. Mayhew, to which everyone did ample justice. W. E. Green and wife, of Plainville, attended Sunday School at this place and spent the afternoon with S. G. Pittman and family.
