Every member of the committee is 'requested to be present, The republican central committee, it is reported, have raised over $300 for campaign purposes and are still, wailing piteously for more money. Of course this means a free ballot and a fair count. The friends of Judne llovey arp urging him to become an independent, candidate for the legislature. The Judge is eminently qualified for the position and would make a strong candidate.

There will be a meeting of the O. O. F. at Jetmore on Saturday, Oct. 16.

Every member pf the fraternity are requested to be present, as important business will come up for discussion. Harris end White, who were arrested for stealing two horses from H. C. Quance, pleaded guilty. Harris was sent to the penitentiary for one tear.
