Richfield and Taloga These two cities constitute this charge. We are arranging to build a 19 A at Richfield, and a number 1 A at Taloga, durring the coming summer and autumn. Our M. E. Sunday-school at Richfield numbers 65 attendants.

Elaborate prepera-tions are being made to observe "Child-rens Day" on the 17th of June. Bro. George was with us on the 25 ult. and preached us an intertaining sermon. W.

Woodward. Speareville We had our first quarterly meeting Saterday and Sundajr Jnue 2nd and 3rd. AH points were represented. Bro. George was with us.

The people are very much discouraged, and are very sure that the "preacher and his family will starve to death long before the year is closed. HAND YOUR SUBSCRIPTIONS TO OUR METHODIST To the Presiding Elder oi your. Pastor. the 9th which was highly adpreciated by a large and attentive audience. The first quarterly conferemce held on the same evening fixed the Elders allowance at $40 and the pastors at $300. Sabbath the service was conducted by the Elder Baptism and the Lord's Supper and reception of members was the order of the hour.

13 adults and one child were baptised, fourteen received from probation to full membership and two by letter Thirhy-eight persons took of emblems of the broken body of Christ blood shed for the remission of sins. W. B. MARSH. Johnson City: Getting along nicely.
