Kansas News. Kansas has now become a point of much importance and attraction to the whole country. For more than ji year past the Missouri Democrat has furnished the newspaper press of the Union with the most authentic as well as the earliest inteligence frm that quarter. It has now five reporters fn various parts of the Territory, and special attention will be devoted to obtain reliable accounts of every event of interest that may transpire there. Those who "wish to keep posted in regard to Kansas affairs, the politics, settlement, immigration, and all that concerns the progress of opinions in that quarter, can "find no better yiD of obtaining them than through the columns of this paper.

Political Position. The Missouri Democrat is, as its name imports Democratic in principle, conservative in tentiment, opposed to the violence and outrages that have disgraced the Territories, and zealously in fayot of the right of the people of each locality toontrol their domestic afiairs. without interference from thoee residing in other be I a house to prepare a New Guide Book for Kansas emigrants to be published, if possibJe, on the 1st of February. Eire, of the County of Doni phan, in the Territory of Kansas, did, on the yth day of A. 1858, hie their petition in the District Court, in and for the first pidicial district, sit ting in Doniphan county, msaul lernto-ry of Kansas, against the said Armstrong Beattie and John W. Crane, defendants, setting forth that, on the 26th day of January, A. 1858, the said Andrew G. Ege aud Matilda C.

Ege, the plaintiffs," executed unto the said Armstrong beat- tie and John W. Crane, the defendants, a certain deed for the purpose ot securing the payment of certain debts therein specified, as fully appears by reference to the book of Records of Doniphan county, marked pages 353 and 854; That said defendants, by virtue of said deed, did, on the 26th day of October, 18o8, by ad vertisement in the "West," a newspaper published in tho city of St. Joseph, in the State of Missouri, offer for sale, on the 27th clay of December, A. 185B; the premises mentioned in said deed afore said, to wit: the north-west quarter of section number (11) eleven, township number (4) four and range number (20) twenty the north-east quarter of section number (10) ten the south-west quarter of section number (2) two, the south half of section (10) ten and the north half of section (15) fifteen, all in the hrst named township and ringc, as fully appears by reference to the adver tisement aforesaid. Now the object and prayer of said petition is to restrain and enjoin the said Armstrong Beattie and John W.

Crane, from selling the above described realxjs- tate, or any part thereor, in manner and form asset forth in the said advertise ment. And tho said Armstrong Beattie and John W. Crane are further notified that a temporary injunction has been grant' ed in earn cause and that they are required to appear and answer said petition on or betore the 19th day ot ebrnary, A 1859, or the said petition will be taken as confessed, and tho said plaintiffs, Andrew G. Ege and Matilda C. Ege, will apply to said court to make said injunc tion perpetual.
