Paoived, That we deplore the sad condition to which our brave Ins.jgolnteriRegtjiiniB have been reduced by the unjust, insane and unpatriotic acts and management of the authorities of this State. 8th. Resolved. That the Unconditional Union men of Doniphan County have a right to demand that the present citizens of this county, who have heretofore had secession proclivities and sympathized, with the rebels, should produce more conclusive evidence that their loyalty is more geimine by coming forward and taking the oath of allegiance before the proper authority and giving bonds if required. 9lh.

Resolved that Slavery, as one of the causes' ol the rebellion, phould be eradicated by, emancipation or in any manner satisfactory to the loyal slave holders, and that the slaves should be colonized. 3d. Resolved, That we will nse our utmost endeavor to enforce and maintain order and security to the persons and property of All good Union and Law abiding citizens of this county and that at the same time we will hunt xip, pursue, prosecute aud bring to justice all offenders of whatever character, or crime either against the government or the citizens aforesaid.

4tli. Resolved, That we have no sympathy with Traitors or their sympathizers, and that those guilty of the highest crime known to the law, should not go unpunished. That such persons are not worthy of our confidence, and should not be trusted in our 5th.
