In lUemorlam. Mrs. Sarah Alward. Died, on Monday night, Dec. S2nd, 1800, at her home in this city, Mrs.

Sarah Alward. The funeral took place Tuesday, at 2 o'clock p. Rev. Morgan and Rev. Combs officiating.

Mrs. Sarah Alward, the deceased, was born Feb. 10th, 1833, in Fountain county, Indiana, making her age nearly 68 years. She was married to her present bereaved hus. band Jan.

19th, 1854. They immigrated to Kansas in the fall of 1855. Iu 1800, the joined the Christian church, of which she remained a member up1 to her death. Her maiden name was Clark, and she was one of a family of nine children, and all of her brothers and sisters' (except Uiose who died with scarlet fever in 1843) were present to attend these last sad rites. She was the mother of six children, four of which are still living and attended her funeral.
