LANE, KANSAS, Sines Last Issue. An interesting case occupied four days of the courts time at Ottawa, last week. It was the case of S. B. Miller vs.

The Insurance Company. The Millers were in business at Paid-win, and suffered a loss by fire, and the insurance companies contested the payment of the insurance oh the grounds that the Millers were suspected of having caused the fire, and that they claimed damage for goods that there was no evidence the building contained. The case was severely contested, but was decided in the de-fehdents favor. New Citizens Arrived. J.
