There is good dramatic as well as musical talent in the band and with a little outside assistance in the female portion of the cast, the band could give a first class series of musical and dramatical entertainments this winter which would be highly appreciated. Mrs. Rose Silverthorn, former wife of Lewis Silverthorn, is said to have been shot and killed at Oklahoma City, one day last week. Full particulars have not been learned concerning the affair, but rumor has it that two rival lovers were quarreling over her, and in attempting to prevent one from shooting the other she was accidently shot.
