City Times, Bloody Fight Between Two Re publicans An Editor and a Judge. Ottawa, Sept. 23. A disgraceful altercation and open fight happened this morning at the office of the Pro bate Judge. A temperance organ has been started in this city under the au spices of certain contributions.

In an attempt to collect a certain subscrip tion this morning from our worthy probate judge, payment was refused An altercation between the editor and judge ens jed, and after the use of very bard words, blows followed. Our judge used bis seal over the bead and face of the editor, and the editor re torted in kind. Blood flowed free! and the parties were separated by our Uemocratio Barnett Of course, the matter causes a sensa tion, and both being Republicans it is suggested that it is the opening of the campaign. The suggestion that the judge desired to kill the editor that be might be privileged to administer on his estate does not largely maintain. although strongly urged by some lead ing men, trust the bloody chasm will be closed and quiet will again prevail.
