THE HIGH SCHOOL RECORD October 1910. Page Four. Grace Bailey Thompson '99 has begun her work in the University of Kansas. She entered with full credits and is taking considerable extra work. The Record is bigger and better than ever- before show your appreciation by giving it a boost.

Bernice White '10 is taking post graduate work in the M. H. S. this year. Eugene Tyler '06 and his bride this week move into his handsome 'new cottage on the farm west of Carrie Hout '10 is with us again.

Reiurned to finish the Normal Course and thereby obtain a State Certificate. Guy Omer '09 is principal of the Webber school and reports the work moving along in nice shape Guy would not allow it to move any other way. Oscar Gunderson '07 has been appointed Deputy postmaster at Mankato. Oscar has served more than a year as post office clerk here and has been so faithful and obliging that his promotion is a deserved one. Good for you Oscar, say we all.

Harry McLean a former student has accepted the position of assistant chemist in Rutger College, New Jersey, at a salary of $1100. a year and at same time is working for his Master's Degree. Harry was offered $1400 a year for full time but preferred to spend part time working for his Degree. The Record extends best wishes for his continued success. Harry Swope and Phon Sutcliff Ethel Vance '07 has been graduated from the Oscaloaca, College and has a good position in both of the big class of '07 are at-tening Washington University, at St Louis.

Harry is taking a course the city schools there. Success to T7-n Mankato. Long life and much happiness to them. We wish to call your attention to the ads in the Record. Be loyal -and help those who help us.

Ruth Walker 08 has entered the Salina Wesleyan Unversity. Ruth McLean '08 has begun work at the Kansas State Agricultural College. Mary Thompson '08 is proving a most successful grade teacher in Esbon schools. Katherine Meadows '09 has charge of the Intermediate Dep't of the Randall Schools.

Of course she enjoys her work and it is needless to say that Katherine is in Law, Phon in Dentistry. Harry villi I i was president of the largest class ever graduated here and success fully marshalled the class exercises Robert Cave '08 and Lloyd Henderson '07 have begun their college carreer of the University of Valparaiso, Ind. They write that they enjoy the work and we feel sure that they will do their share of. it in a manner never surpassed Phon has taught several successful terms of school. The entire school unites in wishing them well -we feel sure they will live up to their class motto.

Lena Waugh '07 graduated this summer from the Kansas Wesleyan at Salina with the degree B. Pd. and received a State Certificate. She is principal of the Lovewell Mary Walker '07 is the primary teacher at this place. The school is certain to be successful.

Georgene Case '07 was successful in passing the State Examination for a State Certicfiate and has a good position as head of. the Grammar Dept. of the Burden, Kansas schools. She has over 50 pupils enrolled and likes the work very much. Lester Dresslar '09 has been appointed Deputy Clerk of the District Court of Jewell CountyFile your -'bills" please.

Winnifred Hanna '09 received a state certificate this summer and has charge of one of the largest county schools in Jewell county. Joe Finch a former student in the M. H. S. is principal of the Scandia schools being re-elected at a salary of $100 a month.

His work, is highly praised. He is a candidate for County Clerk in the The class of '06 are all either uncles- or aunts. A note from Paullina Iowa, says that an 8 lb boy, Robert, born to William and Bessie McBride who were both members of the class of '06. She is one of those who we feel certain will be successful.
