Hopkins left last Saturday for a several weeks' visit with relatives in Kansas City and Independence. M. Low and wife left last Mon day for Ottawa to represent the Solomon G. A. R.

and W. R. C. at the state encampment. H.

Dilling returned home last Saturday from Topeka, where he had been attending the State Sunday school convention. MrSj Bert Ramsey and son Earl visited friends in Manhattan last Saturday and Sunday, while on their way home from Topeka. Robt. Johnson and wife are visiting in Ellis this week. They will also spend a couple of weeks in Excelsior Springs before returning home.

Tim Maher of Renfrew, Okla homa, but who formerly1 resided west of Solomon, visited old friends here several days last returning home Monday. B. R. Coggeshall and wife came in last Friday evening from Pueblo, Colo. Mr.

C. has sold out his laundry in Pueblo and expects to make his home here in the future. For-a good hearty laugh go to the Burton Minstrel Show Friday evening, May 28. The Solomon Dark Town Belles will be on the ends, cracking jokes, singing sangs and playing tambourines. E.
