Mr James Aldersou has a good situation in Kansas City. Married, Nov. 9th, 1887, by Rev Flowers, at the home of the bride, Mr Bailey and Miss May Snyder. Mr Bailey is a brother of Prof Bailey aud one of Jewell county's successful teach-erV, Tiie bride is the ghly daughter of Mr. aud Mrs.

Isaac Alderson returned home from the west Saturday night. Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Alderson's little daughter was butied Sunday afternoon the Wallace cemetery, Rev- Hout of -ficiatiug at the funeral. The bereaved ones have the sympathy of an extended circle of friends.

Mrs. Underwood, a former resident bis to wn, is very sick at her home iu Beloit. Mr. and Mrs. Betzuer are now resi dents of Randall.
