The substance of the confession is, that both Knoxes, Kenyon and himself did the deed. R. W. This called forth a more extensive examination, when it was discovered that there was a long hole in the fore end of the stomach large enough to receive a mans shut fist. No bots were discovered.

The horse had eaten his feed during the night as usual, and was in a stall to himself, and was found on his feet in a dying state next morning.
