was a faithful attendant at church services as long as her health would permit and the success of criurch work was dear to her to the last. The last evening that she spent on earth, she expressed gratitude when her husband returned from prayer meeting and reported a good service. She loved her bible and during ber years ot affliction found great comfort in reading and meditating on its teachings. When health would permit she was wont to be found in the home where there wassick-ness and sorrow, ever ready to help with word or deed. At last, her work is finished in the church militant.

The Master has. called, "Come join the Church Triumphant and share with Him the glory of a church redeemed from sin." Grandma Hamilton dropped dead while around the house doing, her usual house-work. The funeral services were conducted last Sunday in the M. E. church by Rev.

Those repairs were much needed. The teacher and children of the Caldwell school are preparing for a Christmas tree. Charley Caldwell had a woodcutting "bee" today. John Kelley received a telegram Monday from Salem, Oregon, announcing the death of her husband, John Kelley, who had gone there a few weeks ago to visit his relatives. We will all miss John from our midst. He was always ready when he met you with a joke to tell you, and his merry way of telling it always made it amusing to his hearers. He was buried at Salem. The crops were good in this section this year, but it was very dry the fore part of the summer. I thought that I would go to Kansas this fall.
