F. Bcedett, Sec'y. A Beautiful Plat of Eighty Acres ADJOINING THE True Odd Fellowship.

Odd Fellowship is not a irere almsgiving ir.stitution as some would have you believe It is true we bestow on our worthy nibi rs when sick, what rightfully belongs them. Not a bo-stowment of charity, but what rightfully belongs to him the end of his week's sickness, the same as if he had been at work and his employer owed him his week's wages. In this light we bestow on our brothers, in the time of sickness, alms. The value of Odd Fellowship is not alone in alms-giving. We aro apt to belittle our power and fail in our conceptions of Odd Fellowship.

We should hold it in higher esteem than for the dollars and cents wo get out of it. We should try to court brotherly love more among our membership. Practice more the Golden Rule, 'That whatsoever ye would that men shorld do to you do ye even so to Not only to members of your lodge but also to all mankind. By these acts the outside world will soon find that you are a better man because you are an Odd Follow. Wo are judged by our acts and not held in esteem because we are called Odd Fellows and follow none of its precepts.
