Two weeks ago yesterday a man named Albert Weiehbrod, residing on Eagle Creek, alout twenty five miles from the city, started for Osborne afoot, intending to receive here mail matter in regard to a pension for which he had made application. It appears that during his service in the army he suffered a severe attack of sunstroke, the effects of which had not deserted him since his discharge, and on that ground ho applied, for a pension. When he left homo ho had not more money about him than five dollars, his friends say. It is known that he reached Osborne, where lie made several purchases, but his friends are not aware of his movements since then.
