tllK IJUKHAL NEWS Normal begins Monday June 30. G. M. Nix Dead. The News received a telegram today announcing the death of G.

M. Nix at Saint Joseph, Missouri. His son, Clarence, announces that burial will be made at Savanah, Missouri tomorrow. Mr. Nix left here about ten days ago for the benefit of his health.

The work on the Blake building, which is to be used by the Eddington store, is nearly completed. The carpenters began making the shelving this week. Mr. and Mrs. John Ridenour, of Seattle, who have been touring the south and west in a motor car for nearly six months, are now visiting at the A.
