A St. Joseph Ejiecial to tbe Times says: Full details of yesterday's sensational runaway Involving Atchison people show that the parties arrived here from Atchison Saturday night Instead of yesterday, as at first reported, and registered at tho Pacific house as William Harris and wife and G. W. Watson and wife and were assigned to rooms 21 and 23.

During the night tlicy ordered several bottles of wine. Yesterday morning after breakfast they started for a drive aud went to the east part of town and theu to the exposition grounds. There, according to the report of witnesses, they indulged freely In liquid refreshment. When the two couples started to return one of the ladies handled the relus and her escort used tho whip. As they started down Charles street the horses became frightened, and at Eleventh street started down the hill at full tilt.

Van Doreu was badly bruised, but is not fatally Injured, Miss Leohson had her head and face badly cut and will be disfigured for life, and Mrs. Morrison had six of her ribs broken and was injured internally, and died at three o'clock this ufternonn, after confessing; her sins to a minister. Doscomb had his jaw broken aud his nose mashed off and will die.

The party were moved to the St. Charles hotel but refused to give their names, and It was not until the dying confession of Mrs. Morrison was made that they become public. Both of the men work for the Howell-Jewett lumber company nt Atchison. Van Dorcn us found being tho connecting link that has at last led to a clue.

The superintendent called upon the guards to shoot the convict holding him, and Kiggs, a lifo convict, secured the pistol from the escaping convict and killed the criminal who held and was slabbing the superintendent.

Two other prisoners were then killed and one mortally and two seriously wounded. Superintendent Gales was badly wounded. There were no escapes. a cost of $2,945. It was 150 feet iu height.

Minnie Morrlsou, wife of W. 1L Morrison, a fruit dealer; Miss Ida Leohson, daughter of J.J. Leohson, a tailor. Friends of the parties have tried to suppress tho facts as, owing to the high standing ot some of the victims, this was desirable, but the death of Mrs. Morrlsou rendered coucealmeut Payne, living near Newton, was burned to death the other day In the abseuce of its mother, its clothes having taken lire from a stove.

MarySchuman, a good-looking girl of 10, living near Slreatur passed through Dulutli on her way to Chicago. She was decoyed to Hurley, a week ago on a promise of a place lu a restaurant, and when she got there Wednesday she was met by a uuiu called Frank who took her to a daueo house, when lie and his assistant and two old hags stripped her ot every stitch of clothing and forced her into the dance house, where she was insulted by drunken men and abused. Finally she was carried back lo the room where her clothing was and outraged, ller persecutor took away her clothes, aud left her to be violated by another rough. The next day she was given clothing far too scant for decency, and though not again out-raced was submitted to every Insult and Indignity. She managed to hideaway clothing enough and Friday made her escape.

She spent tbe night In tlfe woods, reached Ashland Sunday, was given food by trainmen and brought to' Dulutli, and a Chicago traveling man gave her a ticket to Chicago. She looked like a good girl who had suffered all sbu told, aud was half crazed by her terrible cxpericuce. with blood. Near him lay a man named John O'liara with a bullet wound In his head. Both men were unconscious.

O'liara died last uight after stating that ho was shot by Cross. Tho latter is still alive Ibis morning, but Is unconscious and will probably die. Martin Varley, aged 22 working on top of the rattlers at the malleable Ironworks, this afternoon slipped oft and was caught In the bell ing.
