Uev. Audas offered the opening prayer and after tinging Judge Clayton was called upon, in the absence of J. T. Walker to deliver the opening address, to which M. W.

Mr Sampson, of Pilgri N-hool made some interesting remarks suggestive of every school using the InU'rnalional Lesion Lcves. This Convention shall be called the Barton County Convention. Article 2.

Tlie object of the. Convention shall be, to promote the Interests of the Sunday Schools in till county. Art. The oillcers of the convention shall condst of one President and a Vice President lor each township in tlie county, a permanent secretary an assistant secretary, ami a treasurer. Art.

4 Jtshtll be the duty of the president to preside at the meetings of the couveulion, and in case of his utisence a vice shall take the cli.ur. '1 he permanent secretary shall keep a record 01 the proceedings of each meeting together with a li-t of the schools in tne county, the names 01' the sup'ts, the number of scnolars, the post-ollice address of each scuool, and make a report ut each annual meeting.
