At Quinter two new wells have recently been developed and another will probably be installed soon. Water in this district is found at depths ranging from thirty to ninety feet and the wells have capacities up to 700 gallons a minute. H. B. Walker irragation engineer from theAgriculture college at Manhattan, visited Quinter today to inspect the new plants and advise other farmers who are interested in irrigation.
