pulled in to Neodesha yestreday, B. F. Carter, of Fredonia, called up over the telephone and told the agent to inform the officers that there was a man aboard the train that he wanted placed under arrest. He had no warrant for the arrest of the party but wanted him brought back to Fredonia inside of 24 hours and said a warrant-would be waiting for him. The officers were not at the depot but a hurry up call brought Marshal Newland who made a few hasty inquiries and found that the man was wanted for beating his wife.

Another man was with him who was as far along on the road to inebriety as he was. They were glass workers and were going to Joplin to have a time, they said. He said his companion had come to him and offered to buy him a ticket and they had gone down to the depot expecting to shake the dust of the Holy City from their feet and hike off somewhere till the situation clarified somewhat about home. He seemed to be of the opinion that there was a sentiment at Fredonia against a man trying to convince his wife of the errors of her way by the use of brute force, especially after he had spent all his money for fighting whiskey.

Today Marshal Newland returned th prisoner' to Fredonia. His name Victor Barvais and he is a Frenchman and a pleasing sort of a fellow to meet when sober. His companion, who claimed to have seen the trouble between him and his wife, says that they have a great many rackets and he thinks both are to blame, as the wife is very high tempered as well as Barvais and that they are sometimes so incaution as to get mad both at on'ce. one man or thing unless you are getting benefit. The men appeared at 9:30 before a large audience. Smith threw Kennedy the first fall in eight minutes, with a double Nelson. Ten minutes time was taken and the wrestlers then went twelve minutes when Smith with a half Nelson and crotch threw Kennedy again. Smith had a great deal of confidence and went after his man from the very start. Andy was much stronger and the Kid's superior in every way.

The main bout was prefaced by an exhibition preliminary between Jack Moffitt and Al Davis in which Mr. Moffitt showed many of his scientific holds. The management was pleased with the attendance and was glad to- see that the ladies are beginning to turn out to these amusements. The next match will be between Hector Desgain, the fighting Belgian and Andrew Smith, which will be had at the opera house on Saturday night, May 23rd. Desgain is well known all over the country for his ability as a wrestler and fighter.

This promises to be one of the best, of the kind ever held at this place. Do not fail to see this. Many people never suspect their kidneys. If suffering from a lame weak or aching back they think that it is only a muscular weakness; wheu urinary trouble sets in they think it will soon correct itself. And so it is with all the other symptoms of kidney disorders.

That is just where the danger lies. You must cure these troubles or they may lead to diabetes or Bright's disease. The best remedy to use is Doan's Kidney Pills, it cures all ills which are caused by weak or diseased kidneys. Neodesha people testify to permanent cures. J.

H. Ralston, physician living at S17 Indiana street, Neodesha, says: "I used Doan's Kidney Pills for a too frequeut action of the kidney secretions and occasional spells of backache and they entirely relieved the trouble. I have no hesitation in endorsing this remedy as the best one I have ever used and one that should be used extensively in cases of kidney ailment. I procured Doan's Kidney Pills at Boss Porter's drug store." For sale by all dealers. Price DO cents.

today with Wm. Tenant who was captured in Denver on last Thursday and who has confessed to being one of the two who held up and robbed the bank at Chautauqua Springs about six weeks ago. Tenant is nearly twenty years old, He talks freely and frankly admits his implicity in the robbery. To an Earth reporter, Tenant gave the following statement this morning: "Me and Harry Coleman did the work. We got $1,100.00 a piece.

After we got the money we went down in the Territory about thirty miles below Chautauqua Springs. We stayed there a few days and then started to Kansas City. We passed through Chautauqua Springs at night and we had a notion to stop and get the rest of the money that the banker claimed we got when the bank was robbed. At Kansas City Coleman's horse gave out and he took the train for Walla Walla, and I rode my horse on to Denver. Elmer Winslow had been going with my girl and when I went back he got sore and tipped me to the cops." Tenant has a mother and three brothers in Denver and a brother and sister south of Bartlesville.

The family had formerly lived in Oklahoma and moved to Denver. After awhile, this boy, William, returned to Oklahoma and had since been with Henry Starr and the gang but had never taken part in but this one ba-nk robbery. Ho says that himself and Coleman were with Starr and the gang just the day before the Tyro bank, robbery. That on that day he traded horses with Henry Starr, Henry getting the glass-eyed horse which is described as being ridden by one of the men who robbed the Tyro bank. Tenant says that during their meeting on the day he traded horses with Henry; himself and Coleman discussed their plans to rob the Chautauqua bank and that Henry gave them a few pointers and told them that if A handsome line of Kimonas, Dressing Sacks and Combing Sacks in cotton crepe and organdy, beautifully trimmed, a nice assortment to select from at Green Peas, New Cabbage, White Wax Onions, Pineapples, Fancy Apples, Bananas, Fresh Tomatoes, Asparagus, Green Onions, Radishes, Cucumbers, Green Beans, Good For Everybody.

He has not seen Henry since that day, but believes without a doubt it was Henry Starr, Kid Wilson and a fellow with gold in his teeth who robbed the Tyro bank. Tenant is uneducated. He talks poorly and says that he "can't read much." He says that he expected them to get him sometime but not so soon. From him may bo gained information that will lead to the capture of Henry Starr and his gang. Mr.

Norman R. Coulter, a prominent architect, in the Pelbert Building, San Francisco, says: "I fully endorse all that has been said of Fylectric Bitters as a tonic medicine. It is good for everybody.
