A fisticuff between two of Morlands prominent citizens occurred on the streets Saturday. Emmons Goodrow contractors am builders were in and had some bill heads printed. They are good work men and believe in having their station ery look neat and business like. On Saturday of last week Mr. Win Millirons purchased the Mother Gray property, in the southeast part of town of Bob Armstrong.

Mr. Milliions moved in on Tuesday of this week. Cunningham on Monday morning met with what might have baen a very, serious accident, while moving a lead spout for wheat in the elevator the spout caught his hand against a board holding him there for about five minutes, when Mr. Stout discovered it and helped him to get loose. Fortunately for Johnnie, it was not a bad bruise.

S. G. Warner who lives about seven miles northwest of town shipped a car load of hogs to the Kansas City markets Tuesday morning. Miss Lucy Millirons who has been visiting with her brother at Kansas City during the past three months, returned home Tuesday night. Heavy hailstorms fell thoughtout the west end of Graham and east end of Sheridan counties Tuesday doing much damage to fruit and small grain.

Cunningham Moore. Mr. John Cunningham and Miss Katie Moore were united in Holy Bonds of Matritmony in the parlor of the VK" House at P. M. Tuesday, June 28-1904, Rev.

W. M. Garner officiating. Guests consisted of a few close relatives and friends. During the few months he has been with us the groom has proved a straight upright business like gentleman.

The bride being raised in our midst is known as a perfect Lady, and every one is a friend to her. They leftVednesday morning for the home of the Groom's parents, at Chapman Kansas where they will make a short visit, then return to Palco where Jonn-nie will take charge of an Elevator for Hoffman. The Advance joins with their many friends in wishing them a happy and prosperous journey. A brother of T. M.

Walker, of Atch-isson, came up from Hill City Tuesday and got some of our citezens who hold tax titles to town lots pretty well interested. lie holds the origional owners title. Died; On Tuesday evening June 28 1904. the infant child of Mr. George Radford, (colored), the child was sick only a few days before death.

The remains were taken to Hill City for interment. J. P. Pomeroy has sold the, Boston Cash Store at Hill City to a wealthy gentleman from Colorado Springs. The whole of the lower floor including the basemet has been leased by Weyand the purchaser and he will run an up to date department store.

The fellow who puts his paper back in the postoflice to be marked 'Tefus-ed" when he is owing the publisher for what he has already received, will some day be carried by the wonderful postal service of. the universe to the pearly portals through which he would like to pass. But he will be marked "refused" and dumped into the general conflagration of the trash pile. Ex. located at Grant, Pa but says he does not like the country so well as he does Graham county.

Mr. Findley was out on a visit and was just returning. Reville, Floyd Stober, of Stud ley, who has been attending Business College in Wichita for the past few months will be home Saturday. He was to be home last Saturday but riding- on a street car, the car was over turn- ed and Floyd sustained a spraned knee which delayed him a week.
