Perryman was declared the nominee on the first ballott, the vote being Perryman 30 and Hamilton 24. Perryman is the present sheriff having received the appointment frpin Gov. Martin. The nomination for County Treasurer was next in order and the nominees presented Were J. P.

Israel of McAllaster, Charles Page and T. J. Monce of Monument, and James Stallons of Russell Springs. Mr. Stallons received the nomination on the second ballott.
