Pursuant to a call of the chair man, the Republican Central Committee met at the court house at Dodge City last Saturday afternoon.

After the call to order by Chairman Russell, W. J. Fitzgerald was elected Secretary of the committee. The Treasurers report was then given. After a spiriied discussion, it was decided to allow each voting precinct one delegate in the county convention and an additional delegate for every twenty votes or a fraction of twenty over ten votes cast for Secretary' of State in the election of November, 18S8.
