innrui nn nnju-u -IF- PAXTON Elizabeth Thomas Marshall Elizabeth Thomas was born in Columbiana County, Ohio, Feb. 16, 1834 and departed this life Dec. 9th. 1919 being 85 years 9 months and 23 days old. When young she became a a member of the Quaker Church.

On April 10, 1852 she was united in mar-rage to Samuel Marshall. Two children were born to them, Leni L. and C.eland P. Marshall. In the spring of 1858 she with her husband and one child came to Linn County, Kansas to make a home; Her nusband Samuel Marshall departed this life September 1870.

Since that time she has lived in Linn. Co. with the exception of eleven years fche spent in Iowa near Marshalltown, The last six years she has made her home with her daughter near Parker. She leaves one daughter, Leni Hope, two grand sons, 2'had and 'Arthur Hope, one 'grand daughter, A. Pyle of Marshalltown Iowa and four great grand children, also a host of friends in Iowa and La Cy-gne, Kansas.
