M. NILES, Register. ,8. TILYNIIOUSEli, Receiver. Last Friday witnessed a very inter esting game of base ball here on the Maroons gioand, between the Greens burg Signals and Ashland Whites.

The game was much one-sided; the Whites not being able 'to bat Stock- well's pitching. The game was 80 to 7 in favor of the Signals by innings as follows: 1 a 4 5 6 7 8 9 Signal- G60320463 SO Whites: 2 1 0 1 2 0 1 0 0 7 Notes Stopkwell fanned out 14 of the Whites. Most too much jangling for the good of the game, Ashland's first baseman is an extra safe player. Umpire unexperinced and without firmness. Some language used on the ground is very unbecoming to gentlemen.
