Last week wo chronicled the death of our esteemed citizen, Isaac Kenison.

This week wo report the death of his widow, which occurred at her residence in this city last Monday- Mrs. Kenison was born in the state of Massachusetts ih the year 1811. Her maiden name was Ilaima L. Barber. She was married to Isaac Kenison in the year 1840, and for half a century, haudiu hand they "fought the battle of life together, then laid down their burden and crossed the mystic river nearly at the same time.

She was a good wife and a devoted mother who lived, worked and prayed for her children as only a fond mother can. She lived to a ripe old age. Her life was long and useful. A mother's love and a mother's teaching lives forever. Her funeral was preached by Elder Brirahall and her remains were placed by those of her husband in the Prescott cenietary.
