O. Slonecker, will take notice that the said Milo Wright, plaintiff, did on the Kith day of March A. 1. Mr. Snare has spent the greater part of his life in this county. He returned with his bride to. his home near Wilmore on last Friday after having been absent for a year and a half. He has leased his father's ranch and will make this county his home.

The CHIjeoii Convention. The rjfass convention of the citizens of Coldwater which was held last Monday eve in the Court House for the purpose of selecting a Citizens' Ticket for the coming city election was one of the largest held in the city for years. Hearty good will prevailed during the entire convention and every one strived to nominate a teiket that would stand for the betterment of the public morals and the improvement of the city to keep pace with its rapid developement.

L. M. Rich was chosen chairman and P. II. 1 hornton secretary.

Eugene Ferrin's name was then presented for mayor, and as M. Rich declined a renoruina-tion having served the city faithfully for two terms, Mr. Ferrin was declared the Then the names of the various candidate forcouncilmen were nominated and a vote taken which resulted as follows: P.
