Henry C. McWherter, who has been YOU YANT in charge of the St. Nicholas hotel for the past two months, will surrender his lease and give possession of the building February 28. The hotel under his Local Happenings OF TUB WEEK. OUT TIIE MOVE.

N. Daugli-Tty estate, consisting of 1,104 acres. He also purchased of Mrs. Daugherty 1G0 acres, thus securing the entire tract known as the Daugherty ranch. This is one of the best ranch properties in the state.

The consideration was about $3,000. Mr. Mahan intends moving his family to this county about the irst of March. The Journal congratulates him on his purchase. The Price Brothers, whom everyone in Comanche county knows, have leased the St.

Nicholas Hotel and will take charge of the same February 28. They will continue In the general merchandise business, tho latter being under the management of Ed. and Jeff Price, and Ilice will assume the management of tho hotel. The large acquaintance of these young men and their general popularity will be great factors in acquiring the patronage of the traveling public. The Journal wishes them the success their enterprise merits.
