These gentlemen are the state agents of two of the best insurance companies in the United States. We can't see for the life of us what Bro.

Crossman of the Republican has to rejoice over. The three Republicans ejected every one knows got there by Daniocratic votes. Chy Finley of the popular meat market has recently taken into partnership Powell Brothers, the cattlemen of Powell township. The firm of Fioley Powell Brothers, is a strong one. From their herds they can at nil rimes procure choice beeves and their patrons will be supplied with the best beef that can be had in the west. Succes to you boys and may your prosperity continue.

Any amount of money changed hands in Coldwater on Tuesday's election. The betting was reckless and will. A man could not propose a bet of any conceiv able kind but what it was immediately taken. Bets were even made on the number of scratched tickets that were in the ballit box. Every betting man claims to have come out a little a head.

We have yet to find a man who ist a nickel. At Burr's ranch, the south precinct in IrwiD township, some designing fool stuffed the ballot box. When the judges had finished the count they found nineteen more ballots in the box than names on the poll books, As the ballots were not numbered the fraudulent votes could not be distinguished from the geuuine and as a consequence the euitre vote of the precinct willj be thrown out by the commissioners. A shooting scrape occurred at Medicine Lodge 'dnesday. It seems from what we can gather, that Mr.

Martia an Attor. uey uc Medicine Lodge had published in one of the Lodge papers an article strongly rejecting on Commissioner Reube Like, who was a candidate on the Democratic ticket for reflection. Young liilj Like, a son of the Gommissioner, went to the Lodge and meeting Mir tin. who avowed authorship the article, drew a revolver and struck Martin a Mm.
