It is well known that the Allopathic school of physicians hold the Homeopathic theory in great contempt, and a very forcible illustration was given in our town last week. One of our citizens had occasion to call in a physician to attend a sick child, a member of his family, and our Homeopathic physician having a splendid reputation as being successful in treating diseases of children was call ed in.

The child, however, did not improve as rapidly as the fond parent thought it ought, so the Allopathic ped W. O. Whipple of New Almelo made a short trip CLOSING OUT. I will close out my entire stock of ME ROHAN DISE Thompson a Janes. Attornevs-at-Law.

After a continuous cross-examination of eleven hours, little Charlie Graham was dismissed from the witness box. It was a trial. During all those hours in which able lawyers for the defense sought to break the damaging testimony given by the boy, he maintained a coolness and composure that won the admiration of every one, and it is universally admitted that he not only told the truth, but that he Avas more than a match for the combined energies and wisdom of Mrs. Malloy, Cora Lee, and their phalanx of attorney's. The result of cross-examination is that Mrs.

Malloy's reputation for chastity is not as good even as when the State turned the boy over to the defence, while the conviction is enforced that Cora Lee had previous knowledge both of Graham's bigamy and the murder of Sarah Graham. Mrs. Scott testified that Mrs. Malloy, Cora Lee and Graham called on her on Sunday afternoon, when Mrs. Malloy stated that Cora had two smart step children.

She also stated that Graham had been a widower either three or four ears; that his wife had been dead that length of time. THEO. SNYDER, I D.AnJafAi Via. March 19, 1886.
