Our friend Eddie Franklin was visiting last Sunday and the early part of tho week at Doniphan. By the appearance of his face we imagine that his mother-in-law is quite well. Many of the young folks of Severance went out to Anthony Kilkenncys, last Monday night and had a first class dancing party.

He told Chrisman that he had heretofore hauled it to Atchi son but seeing his two line notice in The Enterprise he would sell it to him. There are some people in Severance who seem to pay more attention to other people's business, in the way of gossiping, than their own. Instead of being at home or at their own business, as they should be, they make it their particular business to see where you buy your goods and who you speak to, what you say and how you act, and knock a newspaper all to pieces in the shape of small good-for-nothing gossip.
