IS THE SOLE AGENT FOR THESE SIIOE3 AT which would be comparable to that secured by using a first class shredding machine as is done on so many plantation in the south. It is estimated in the south that the gain in juice by using a shredder is fully 5 pef and I would say that in using a mill for expressing sorghum juice, fully as great a gain would be experienced by having the cane previously roasted. Even granting this advantage, which I do willingly.

I do not believe that the use of a mill could prove profitable or in any wise compete with the diffusion process for extracting the sugar from sorghum cane. In regard to the second matter I am also FMIGO'S at A. T. Uedwine's. Land Office at Garden City.
